Our team of talented women are farmers’ wives, mums and professionals in their own right. When our husbands needed a solution to the wonky carrot problem we joined together to develop Just Veg. It solves a food waste problem for farmers and taps into the growing consumer demand for quick and easy healthy snacks and meal solutions.
Alice
Farmers' Wife and Storyteller
Alice’s isn’t any good at growing food, but she can tell great stories (and ask LOTS of questions). In a former life she worked as a news journalist and interviewed all kinds of people, from politicians to George Clooney (sigh!).
She’s taken the lessons learned over 20 years working in the media and applied them to the produce industry. Farm life is packed with amazing stories about guts, determination, loss, reward and risk and Alice loves to help tell those stories.

We call Gen our Swiss Army Farmer’s Wife. Like a multi-tooled pocket knife, Gen is continually amazing us with her hidden skills.
She’s a lawyer, event organiser and budding photographer. Gen leads our digital media strategy and snaps some spectacular images from the farm.

Jane keeps us organised, focused and on target to meet deadlines. She’s the consummate professional, who spent many years working in financial services marketing.
